The Lantern Community, Living, working and sharing together

    AGM 1
  • The Lantern Community Governance

The members of the Lantern Community Board are both Trustees and Directors, responsible respectively to the Charity Commission and Companies House and are accountable for the "good governance" of the Lantern Community.
Governance is a general concept applied to different organisations and can refer to a "level" of governance, "field" of governance, "model" of governance, or "process" of governance.

  • Management and Administration

The Lantern Community does not perceive itself as an 'agency' or a 'service provider'. We strive to build a community that recognises and responds with creativity, flexibility and openness to the variety and diversity of changing needs, and to co-operate in enabling each individual to move to a desirable personal future.

  • The Care Quality Commission (CQC)

CQC inspect and regulate services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety and publish reports, including performance ratings.

  • Feedback

We want you to let us know if you have a comment to make, whether it is good or bad, on any aspect of the Lantern Community. We welcome suggestions as to how we can improve. We also want you to have the opportunity to complain about something you feel should be brought to our attention.
